Founded in The Woodlands, Texas in 2015, Student Community Ambassadors is a youth leadership and community service program for students in grades 6–12. SCA brings young people together to serve their communities, develop as leaders and learn the responsibility of carrying something meaningful forward.
Leadership development is intentionally woven throughout the SCA experience. Through service, organizational leadership roles and increasing responsibility, Ambassadors are given meaningful opportunities to lead, make decisions, work with others and contribute to the direction of the organization.
Over several years of shared experiences, service and growth, Ambassadors build confidence, meaningful relationships and a deeper understanding of what it means to contribute to something larger than themselves.
SCA was created around a simple belief: young people grow when they are trusted with meaningful opportunities to contribute, lead and serve. Ambassadors don't simply participate. They are encouraged to step forward, take responsibility, learn from experience and grow alongside one another over several years.
The result is an experience designed not only around what students accomplish today, but who they are becoming along the way.
